Seeds of a different kind

When I was young, I was the baby of the family, if you will. I was always told to be like my older cousins, so I did. Most of my habits and skills that accumulated over the years were through mimicry of my elders, not just my cousins. I learned to cook from my mom, I learned to make my bed through our helpers, learned to take care of my pets from everyone at home, and so on. There are things even they can’t teach me, so I turned to my family library. I read as much as I could and learned more skills than I ever could dream of. I cannot be more thankful for my upbringing as it has helped me learn to survive in today’s world.
